Divers Come To West
M-club will sponsor a performance by the World's Foremost Diving act tonight at 8 p.m. in the Maine West pool. The program will feature Hobie Billingsley, diving coach at the University of Indiana, and Dick Kimball, diving coach of the University of Michigan. The show will include tower diving, water ballet, comedy diving and swimming, plus a trampoline performance.
These two men have performed throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe. They have made television appearances on "You Asked For It" and "Sports Spectacular," and have made a world tour as "Good Will Ambassadors" for the United States State Department.
Hobie Billingsley, aside from coaching at Indiana, is the coach of America's Pan American diving team. He is also the National AAU diving champion. Dick Kimball, Michigan coach, is also the National Collegiate diving champion and the National Trampoline champion.
Friday night will be the second appearance at Maine West for these two aqua-comedians. They also appeared here last spring. Tonight there will be only one performance beginning at 8 p.m.
