The district track meet will be run off Saturday, May 11, beginning at Prospect at 12 p.m.
Last week, on May 2, the varsity trackmen walloped Forest View, 96‑92, at Prospect high school. Out of 14 events Maine captured 12 firsts.
The first place winners were Bruce Congalton, high hurdles; Leroy Schlegel, 100 and 220‑yard dashes; Lloyd Schlegel, 880‑yard run; Rich Bokor, 440‑yard dash; Bruce Congalton, low hurdles; John Schneider; Bill Rosenburgh, shot put; Tom Prochaska, discus; Phil Dindinger, pole vault; Bud Ziehn and Paul Neuman, high jump; Maine West, mile and 880‑yard relay.
Win Triangular Meet
On their April 25 encounter with Glenbrook North and Notre Dame, Maine came out on top with 59 1/2 points, Glenbrook North gathered 44 1/2 points, and Notre Dame finished last with 43 points.

Rout East Leyden
During Easter vacation, the Warriors track team had a meet with East Leyden, in which Maine captured every first place, seven second places, and nine third places.
The final score of the Warriors fantastic victory was 100‑18.
