Institute Day October 15

While students are enjoying their day off on October 15, teachers will be very busy.

The program for the day will include two speakers, Dean McSwain of Northwestern university and Dr. Jordan M. Scher, director of the Chicago Physicatric foundation of the Ontoantaletic institute. Lunch will be served at Maine West.

In the afternoon color slides will be shown by Dr. Earle W. Wiltse, superintendent, concerning the reading program. Following this will be a panel discussion on study habits. Panelists will be Mr. Ray Friess, head of the science department at Maine East; Mr. Glenn Hoffman, head of the social science department at Maine West; Mr. Roy Howarth, head of the English department at Maine East; and Mr. Dale Marshall, head of the mathematics department at Maine West. The panel will be moderated by Dr. Zeller.
