Members of this year's Pom Pom squad are captain Jacquie Berndt '63, Karen Broberg '63, Diane DeFranco '65, Darlene Goodwick '63, Paulette Lindberg '65, Wendy Peterson '63, Maureen Quinn '64, Ruth Richardson '63, Lynne Schavitz '63, and Karen Struebing '64.

Girls trying out for the squad were taught a routine performed with the school song. On May 9, preliminary tryouts were held and 89 girls participated. From these girls

31 finalists were chosen. Final tryouts were scheduled for May 11, when the 10 girls now on the squad were picked.

Girls were judged on pep, rhythm, coordination, personality, and representation, by Joanne Arrigoni, Marilyn Probst, Donna Schaller, Gail Schellin, Maureen Verber, last year's sponsor Mrs. Eileen Peters, Miss Martha Peterson, Miss June Thompson, Mr. Sidney Drain, and Mr. Kenneth Olson.
