More School Buses Needed

Dear Editor,
A problem has arisen concerning the buses. As far as I know, there is only one bus per route, and many of these buses are overcrowded. The bus I ride has even had to pass up students because there was no room left. I think the school would do a great favor to the students if they would see about supplying these routes with more buses.

Dear Editor,
Why doesn't The Westerner have a creative writing column? I know the paper conducted a survey in the last issue, yet there was no mention of a feature such as creative writing. I'm sure that each student would welcome the opportunity to have an item of his published.

P.S. If other students are interested in having such a feature, they can send a letter stating their interests to the paper through The Westerner mailbox which is outside of the adult education office.

Dear Editor,
I want to thank all the kids who contributed a penny each to the "worthy senior girl" at the Homecoming game. The mum was gorgeous. Thanks a lot.

Dear Editor,
Why doesn't the school install clocks in all the washrooms? It would solve the problem of having kids look at the clock down the hall to see how much time is left before the next class. I am sure they would be appreciated.

Dear Editor,
Soon quarter finals will be here. Following the quarter exams come the semester finals. I realize that the teachers must have some way to test the students, but are these hectic weeks of exams necessary?

During weeks of exams I become such a nervous wreck that I can't sleep the night before the test. I believe that if we had tests at the end of each month for a review this would solve the problem.

I feel that I am not the only person who thinks this way. So much depends on the finals that if one has a bad day and does do poorly on the final his grade is ruined.
