The world renowned Harlem Globetrotters will take on the San Francisco All‑Nations in an exhibition basketball game on Monday, November 5, at 8 p.m. in the Maine East fieldhouse. This event is being sponsored by the Maine West Dad's club.

The Globetrotters will be led by Bob "Showboat" Hall, while the San Francisco All‑Nations team is led by Robert Akeo, who hails from Honolulu, Hawaii. Augmenting this tremendous basketball exhibition will be an outstanding half‑time show.

At the completion of the 1961‑62 season, the Globetrotters played their annual series against a team consisting of outstanding collegiate players. The Globetrotters completely dominated the series by winning 14 and losing only one. They played this series in various cities throughout the United States. The Globetrotters have played in nearly every state of the Union and also in many foreign countries.

Tickets for this game are now on sale at the Maine West and Maine East bookstores. The tickets are $2.50 for adults and $1.50 for children under the age of 14.
