Girls, keep January 11 open on your calendar of events. The reason: GAA is going to sponsor a Mother‑Daughter playnite, and all girls and their mothers are invited. Trampoline and swimming will be featured. According to Lynn Holm '63, president of the club, this event will be fun.

This Saturday, December 15, eight GAA girls will represent Maine West at a playday at Glenbrook. Girls from many other schools in this area will also participate. Among the featured events will be trampoline, swimming, badminton, and volleyball.

Speaking of volleyball, the intramural volleyball tournament held every Tuesday and Thursday in C‑wing gym is going along very well. There are 14 teams participating and of these, two are tied for first place. Lynn is the captain of one of the two teams, and Jan Virostko '64, is the captain of the other.
