Bowlers Have Tight League

The Boys' Bowling league, composed of 16 four‑man teams, is rolling along with two teams presently battling for first place. The two teams are "Us Four" and "The Railroaders." The "Us Four" team is composed of Jon Grubert, Dan Schmidt, Tom Washburn, and Mike Nielsen, while Jim Vrastiak, Lou Hacker, Tony Lentini, and Dave Nesbit bowl for the "Railroaders."

At the completion of the season, a banquet will be held and trophies will be presented to the top teams and the bowlers who hold the high game, high series, and high average. Currently, Ralph Testo holds the high game of 235, Mike Nielsen owns the high series of 610, and Dick Chamberlain is carrying the high average of 173.

In a return match with the faculty the students made up for their first match loss by dumping them nine games to three.

The students were led by Jon Grubert and Ralph Testo, who had 578 and 547, respectively. Ken Beer also had a 500 series for the students. The faculty was led by Mr. Hughes, 564; Mr. Hommerding, 563; Mr. Serone, 553; and Mr. Bencriscutto, 503.
