Own Trophy With Knights

A new attraction will highlight next year's Maine West vs. Prospect football game. The winner of the game will start an annual exchange of the trophy between the two schools.

As the result of the work of a committee with members of both schools, plans for an "exchange trophy" have been worked out. The committee met several times to discuss the design of the trophy and the terms of exchange.

Each year when West meets Prospect in football, the victor will take home the trophy.

"It is hoped that the trophy will encourage school spirit and better the relations between the two schools," remarked Mr. Ralph Caprio, who helped organize the committee.

Tom Prochaska '63, was responsible for designing the trophy. The trophy will be two and one half feet high and symbolize both schools with a Warrior and a Knight.
