Girls! Time To Choose Your Guy

"Four Winds and Seven Seas" is the theme of this year's girls' choice dance to be held Saturday, February 23, from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. in the cafeteria and the student lounge.

The student lounge will be decorated with nets, shells, and underwater life to support the "Seven Seas" theme. To demonstrate "Four Winds" the cafeteria will be divided into four sections: north, south, east, and west. Decorations will consist of icy blues and whites for the north, tropical greens and yellows for the south, an oriental setting for the east, and browns and tans for the west.

Committee chairmen handling the dance are Karen Rivard '64, entertainment; Linda Petkus '65, publicity; Jan Wandrey '63, refreshments; Sue Dahm '63, tickets; and Shirleen Ullrey '65, decorations.

Dress for the dance will be semi‑formal, and girls are to make signs or corsages for their dates. Music will be provided by Al Johnston's six‑piece orchestra.

"Anyone interested in assisting with the decorations is welcome to come to the cafeteria after school Friday, February 22, and any time after 9 am. Saturday, February 23," asserted Sue Lane '63, vice‑president of Girls' Club council. Girls' Club council sponsors are Mrs. Meyers and Mrs. Welsh.
