Dear Editor:
What's in a name?
A name is a doorway to the truth. It is a covering of what lies beneath‑but a transparent covering for it lets one see with a clear focus, a sharp perspective.
A name has appeared at Maine West by which we may all benefit. It is a small name, but the world into which it opens is vast and beautiful. In this world light may be darkness, hate may be love. In short, all things are possible. Truly, adventure, wisdom, and reverie are all to be found in the world of literature.
It is indeed gratifying to know so many of us have found these things through one name, "The Path."

Dear Editor:
Someone should do something about the heat in this school. Some rooms, not very many, are much too warm. Other rooms and the halls are so cold that we could wear coats and be comfortable. The doors are wide open making the halls cold and the rooms drafty. The teachers complain when so many students are absent; if the school were heated properly not so many students would get colds. I think this is a major problem and something should be done about It immediately.
