GAA archery is being held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in C‑wing gym. Janet Healy '64, is sporthead. She'll assist Mrs. Grace Paulsen, sponsor.
Key Club under the direction of president John Heckel, is one of the newest clubs in school.

As a service group, the Key Club helped with the mass Polio vaccination that took place in C‑Wing gym last spring. Members also helped with the ground breaking ceremonies for Maine South. Key Club then promoted good will in downtown Des Plaines by helping with the Memorial Day parade.

Most recent project was helping put car stickers on cars in the parking lots.

Almost every club has the problem of making money; however, Key Club solved this problem by two projects. The first was the selling of chocolate Easter Eggs and then the Senior Prom car wash.

"I would like to encourage freshmen boys who have the desire to work and participate in a worthwhile organization, to come out and join Key Club," emphasized John. This also applies to upper classmen.

The other officer of Key Club is Steve Ross, secretary‑treasurer. Mr. Raymond Ross, typing teacher, is sponsor of the group. Key Club has its next meeting September 24, in room A‑216.
