MW Library Adds Two
New Areas of Study
This year the library has a total of 12,000 volumes. Each day hundreds of books are taken out and many of them are not returned. Mr. Willis Lindeman, chairman of the library, urges everyone to return books on time.
Books may be borrowed from the library for two weeks. Pamphlets, magazines, college catalogs, and books that are greatly used, are checked out for two days. Books behind the desk are placed on reserve by teachers and may be taken out for one period or overnight.
This year there will be a special section for current events and one for students who want to listen to records with an earphone without disturbing others.
There are two new librarians on the staff this year, Mrs. Olga Stetsuk and Mrs. Lorraine Wessburg. They are assisted by students with above average grades. "If you wish to work in the library," said Mr. Lindeman, "you can obtain an application from me."
