Maine West Competes in Science Fair
"More than 35 local high schools, including Maine West, will participate in this year's Illinois Junior Academy of Science North Suburban District Fair," announced Mr. Louis Bergdolt, Maine West's coordinator of the Fair.
Winners in the competition, which is to be held the second week in April at Lake Forest College, will then enter the state finals. The University of Illinois in Urbana will host the 1964 Illinois State Science Fair May 8th, 9th, and 10th.

"We sincerely hope that Maine's representation will be better this year than last year," stated Mr. Joseph Clouser, Science Seminar sponsor. "Although a variety of projects are now under way, real initiative will have to be shown by the students if we want to take honors in the Fair."
