New Officers To Be Named At SC Jitney
The Election Jitney will be Saturday, March 21st, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Jitney will take place in the Maine West cafeteria. The new presidents and secretaries of Maine West's and Maine South's Student Councils will be announced. Posters that the candidates and their backers made will be the decorations. Refreshments will be served. Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 16th, for 35 cents in the cafeteria. They will not be sold at the door.
The committee members working to make the Election Jitney a success are Georgene Carlson '65, Scott Kaufmann '67, Pat Radlein '67, Bucky Sawisch '66, and chairman, Robin Swain '66.
"With the backing of the entire student body, the Jitney will be an exciting conclusion to election week," Robin stated enthusiastically.
