Webster Play Will Be Given

Over WMTH
WMTH at Maine West is producing "The Devil and Daniel Webster" by Stephen Vincent Benet. It has been adopted for radio by Charles Jackson.
"WMTH has always wanted to do a radio play, and we hope 'The Devil' will be the realization of that goal," announced Davis Hall '64, station manager.
"Those who tried out were all very good, and it was hard to select a cast," affirmed Tim Keane '65.

Those chosen for parts are Steve Karma '65, Daniel Webster; Doug Olsen '67, the Devil; Kitty Kinser '67, Mrs. Stone; and John McCallum '67, Jabez Stone. Playing minor roles are Tom Hendren '67, Tom Jesky '65, and Jim Mack '65.
The play will be taped with special sound effects, provided by chief engineer Rick Haisler '65, and aired over WMTH. The tape will be made available to English teachers for classes.
