VOL. V, NO. 13
by Bonnie Klaus
The tulips buds are pushing up
Like small green knuckles through the ground;
The grass is young and doubtful yet
While robbins now are flying 'round.
Once dark bare trees are clothed again
In new born leaves of fragile green;
A frozen earth becomes alive
And paints the world a brand new scene.
Young hearts are skipping happy beats
Romance is strongly in the air
As couples go by in a world of which
They and only they can share.
And all these signs of new rebirth
Are present only once a year;
The winter's come and gone again
And spring once more is finally here.
