Voyles Wins F.T. Contest
The senior free‑throw champion was Steve Voyles. Voyles rippled the nets on 82 per cent of his shots. He was followed by John Wentzell and Bill Wagner. The juniors were led by Kent Lashway, who hit 41 out of 50 shots. Bob Reinhardt and Pete Klose took 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

The sophomore free‑throw champ was Bill Franzen. Bill hit 40 out of 50 free‑throw attempts. Franzen was followed by Sherm Schuett and Mike Sorensen. Glen Swanson led all freshmen contestants with 25 out of 50 for a .500 average. He was followed by Dan Cordts and Joe Kuknyo.
The sophomore champion was Tom Mordue. Tom was followed by Gary Deaville. Larry Carl copped the freshmen award. Running a close 2nd was Kirk Waberzeck.


Coach Carstens' 7th period class took the junior honors in volleyball. Members of the team are captain Bob Cizek, Randy Dean, Dick Goelz, Bill Klein, Jim Leis, and Jim Schleicher. Winning in the sophomore division was Coach Nyren's 3rd period class. Members of this champion squad were Frank Holthouse, captain; Randy Gill, Greg Gorabeck, John McNurney, Earl Riddle, and Richard Russel.
