High-Rate History Students Receive
Recognition at Tea
The annual History Honors Initiation Tea will be given June 2nd at 3:45 in R-104. The initiates consist of students who achieved high grades on the competitive history test. To be eligible these students also have had to maintain at least a B average for the second semester and the third quarter.
The six highest scorers on the competitive test took the essay test given last Tuesday. The highest scorer on this test will be given the title "Best American History Student." He will also receive a government bond from Tri‑S Society.
Students receiving the top six scores are Richard Leyerle, Tom Larson, Linda Ledig, Ronald Pazdra, Kathy Flentge, and Linda Schroeder.
The students receiving history honors are James Adams, Beverly Buthman, Daniel Carlson, Karen Christensen, Dan Colvin, William Currer, John Curtin, Marlene DeGrazio, Robert Ekvall, Janet Eley, and Kathy Flentge.
Also, Patricia Gass, Carl Groh, Linda Gulker, Cheryl Hagedorn, Terry Hakala, Patricia Helfers, Beth Holmgren, Linda Holt, Bruce Jacobsen, Tom Klausing, Stephanie Kempton, William Klein, Kendra Koehler, Tom Larson, Kent Lashway, Linda Ledig, Jim Leis, Richard Leyerle, and Mike Neese.
