2 Successes Forecast for Class Proms
The class of '65 is alert and alive! Alert and alive on last minute details for their prom, "Tahitian Twilight," to be held on May 23rd from 8:30 until 11:30 p.m.
The committees for the prom have all spent their last few Saturday afternoons working out specifics on the decor, refreshments, and general organization for the prom.
From all indications thus far, "Tahitian Twilight" promises to be one of Maine West's greats and another success for the Junior Class.
"ROLL OUT the red carpet!" The Senior Prom, "Prelude to an Ending," which will be held June 5th from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. in the cafeteria, has been planned to be a real "red carpet" affair.
The cafeteria will turn from an everyday student center to a medieval castle, complete with moat and drawbridge, in which each senior can dream of his own "Prelude to an Ending." The drawbridge, leading across the moat, will wind its way into the medieval forest and onward to the starlit patio.
From the moment you step in the front door to be greeted by a red carpet, 'til the last dance is danced, the prom will be a memorable event.
