VOL. V, NO. 14
Mr. Smith Inherits Alligator
Have you seen Mr. Edwin Smith walking down the hall lately with a strange little creature? Don't be too frightened; it still fits in the cage.
Mr. Smith, mathematics teacher, has received this animal as a gift from Mrs. Jean Pagal, who did her practice teaching in Mr. Smith's classes. He brings the being to school for his students to observe.
One day while Mr. Smith was teaching a geometry class, he told a story about a pet alligator he had as a child. Mrs. Pagal was very amused by the story and during spring vacation, sent Mr. Smith an alligator air mail from Florida.
The alligator is about one foot in length and is still without official title. Mr. Smith believes it will probably expire before he can choose an appropriate name for it.
