VOL. V, NO. 14
Elected at the May 5th meeting of Inter‑Club Council were Mike Nielsen '65, president; Linda Virostko '67, vice‑president; and Mary McCormick '65, secretary‑treasurer. The officers have already begun planning for next year's council and may confer with East's officers about an Inter‑Club Council at South. The officers agree that correlating the clubs is a major goal of ICC.
A treasury from which clubs needing immediate funds can borrow money is being considered. With interested club representatives, next year's council can accomplish its goals. It is hoped that each club will elect a representative who will attend Inter‑Club Council meetings.
Charters were issued to 24 of the 30 clubs needing charters. To receive a charter a club needs a sponsor, a constitution, and a purpose approved by Student Council. A club needs a new charter to function as a school club. Without a charter issued this year, a club cannot legally function.
