Netsters Tip Spartans 3‑2
Tuesday, May 19th, marks the last meet for the racketmen before the Conference meet, Saturday, May 23rd, as the Warriors play the Falcons from Forest View. In the first meeting, the netmen swamped the Falcons 5-0 and will be out to do the same again.

The Conference meet will be held on the West and Rand Park courts.

Their last time out, the netsters won over Glenbrook North, 3-2. Cliff Vogel, first singles, swamped Chuck Hedrick 6-1, 6-1, while Jim Richards lost to Spencer Hatton 5-7, 0-6. Jeff Clement, third singles, lost to Tony Frestan in three sets 3-6, 6‑4, 2‑6.
In doubles, Bob Poyer and Bob French continued their winning way over Stall and Brogan 6-2, 6-1. Bob Reinhart and Dennis Doyle also won quickly 6-3, 6-3. Dennis Doyle, who was just moved up from the frosh-soph squad could provide needed strength.

Against Prospect the courtsters lost 3-2 with first and second doubles posting the wins.
