Batdorf, Seitz Chosen Editors
The new Westerner and Legend staffs for 1964-65 were named May 20th at the Quill and Scroll Tea. Most of The Westerner staff members were chosen from this year's English III journalism classes. All are juniors.
The Westerner staff chosen was Lorna Seitz, editor‑in‑chief; Kenn Hempel, managing editor; Tim Keane, business manager; Jane Wolski, page one editor; Larry Farley and Cheri Anderson, page one assistants; Diane Walsh, page two editor; Luanne Wettendorf, page two assistant; Kathy Orlowitz, page three editor; Peggy Pepmiller, page three assistant; Jim Leis and Al Pier, page four co‑editors; Jim Mack and Lloyd Schlegel, page four assistants; Mary McCormick, chief copyreader; Dan Barry, assistant copyreader; Dreama Wells, picture editor; Marsha Hattory, picture technician; Tom Herzog and Jim Thoma, photographers; Vicki Kolton and Kathy Wilhams, typists; Bonnie Klaus, exchange manager; and Tom Buchanan and Ed LaPointe, circulation managers.

In the absence of Karen Rivard '64, Jane Pressl '64, made the announcement of next year's Legend staff: Donna Batdorf '65, editor; Kathy Flentge '65, business manager; Jim Bullerman '65, senior editor, assisted by Margie Gasteire '67; Bob Reinhart '65, class editor, assisted by Linda Virostko '67; Jim Kahn '65, organizations and activities editor, assisted by Elizabeth Grange '67; Lynne Struebing '66, clubs editor, assisted by Anita Waskowski '67; Jan Wandrey '66, sports editor, assisted by Dick Schellin '67; Wendy Gertz '66, academics and copy editor; Linda Waters '66, administration and staff editor; Sue Olson '66, faculty editor; and Nancy Carlson '66, technical editor.
