Marilynn Skeppstrom is the delegate for Girls' State, with Stephanie Kempton as her alternate. Marilynn is sponsored by the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Dan Colvin and Bob Reinhart are the Boys' State delegates. Dan is sponsored by the Park Ridge Daughters of the American Revolution and Bob is sponsored by the Des Plaines American Legion. Don Kinder was one of the winners, but won't be able to attend.

Boys' State is held at Springfield, Illinois, where each appointee undergoes a program of citizenship and leadership education. These representatives run for offices and form a governmental functionary group. Girls' State is held at Jacksonville, Illinois, on MacMurray College campus and runs in the same way.
