Ursula Leaving Us June 25
By Ursula Krome

I cannot believe that it is over. It has been such a wonderful year; I could even say the most wonderful year of my life so far. I want to thank all of you. Everybody was so nice to me and helped me when I had difficulties, and I had quite a few.

Student Council, with Mr. Hoffman as sponsor and Mary Reed as AFS representative, helped me get over the first hurdles.
Elsa Moehling, who has been the most wonderful sister to me during the whole year, was busy showing me the town and the school and introducing the students to me. At night she often spent time explaining my homework to me.

Looking over the entire year it has been a wonderful and happy one. I am sad to leave Des Plaines and the United States. When I leave on June 25, I leave with the hope of coming back and I wish this will be possible sometime.
