Cheerleaders, Pom-Pom Squad

Pepsters for next year's athletic events were chosen this month. Cheerleading clinics were held and the girls tried out. From them, six were chosen as next year's varsity cheerleaders. The six girls are Harriet Hall '66, Sandy Kunkel '65, Cheri Mercer '66, Chris Peterson '65 (captain), Linda Petkus '65, and Pat Silk '66.
Tryouts for the Pom-Pom squad for the '64-'65 school year were held May 14th. The 30 girls chosen in the semi-finals were eligible to try out with the former members of the squad.

From these 35 girls, 10 were chosen to be members of next year's Pom-Pom squad. They are Sandy Bouda '65, Diana DeFranco '65 (captain), Donna Hostetler '66, Diane Keller '65, and Margie Kincaid '65.
Also, Connie Lambrecht '66, Marilyn Michaels '65, Pat Mollenkamp '66, Virginia Schaefer '65, and Cindy Schorr '65.
They were chosen on the basis of pep and personality.
