Nine Seniors Take Honors
Certificates were awarded to nine senior girls in Business English. These certificates were given by the National Office Management Association. They are in recognition of students who have fulfilled requirements with perfect spelling scores after intensive study of 600 words given by the Association.
Mr. Oliver Brown, Chairman of the Business Education Department, recently presented the awards to Arlene Blaha, Jacqueline Collins, Marilyn Davis, Jane Ebert, Marlene Juenger, Nancy Loebach, Sandra Mateling, Diana Muscarello, and Rosemary Pastorello.

The NOMA spelling program was initiated at Maine West three years ago by Mrs. Annabel Sortal, business education teacher.
