Mark Wins Top Office

Mark Romness was elected president, September 20, of the largest Freshman Class in the history of Maine West. Other, class officers are Nancy Gunn, vice‑president; Jan Ericson, secretary; and Jeff Reinke, treasurer.

Students who ran for a class office had to take out a petition and get 50 freshman signatures before becoming eligible to run.

The class sponsors are Miss Ruth Basenbach, English teacher, and Mr. Dan Farris, mathematics teacher.
