Elevator Not A Timesaver
To enlighten those students who have been wondering about hopping a ride on the elevator to save time‑don't!

The elevator is located on the first and second floors near B‑wing. The main purpose of the elevator is to help students reach the second floor who have physical disabilities or other injuries which require crutches. It is also used by members of the audio visual department for transporting machines from floor to floor.

Once in a while a teacher or unauthorized student sneaks a quick ride; however, this isn't advisable for the student.
Perhaps you may lean too near the door and it opens. If you're moved by the spirit of adventure and walk into the elevator, the door may close and trap you inside. If this should happen, by pushing the button the victim may make the elevator go up, and by pushing another button he will return to where he started.

If you're still curious about the elevator and would like to try for a pass, the only authorized way is from the dean's office.
