Homecoming Brings Fun, Excitement
HEAR YE! HEAR YE!
"Listen my kiddies and you shall hear. . .
"Hear what?"
"About Homecoming 1963. This week has been filled with fun and excitement. Everyone likes the suspense and excitement of Homecoming."
"Not too many teachers do; I haven't done much studying this past week."
"Well the teachers should understand about the floats we had to build."
"Floats! Please don't mention the word. Lately I've been counting flowers in my sleep."
"Yes, I know what you mean. The part I like about Homecoming is the choosing of the Queen."
"But it's so hard to choose. All the girls are so . . . Well, how can you choose?"
All I can say is, "May the best girl win. Going to the game?"
"Certainly, I wouldn't want to miss the fun, excitement, and refreshments."
"And excitement . . .
"And refreshments!"
"The dance tomorrow night should be fun for all. The theme is 'Autumn Haze', and the decorations and refreshments are going to be the best of many years."
"How about refreshments?!"
"Yeah! Yeah! The highlight of the evening will be the crowning of the Queen."
"Yeah, that's it. Well, see you later. I have to spread the word."
"About what? What word?"
"About Homecoming 1963!"
