Senior Play Cast Is Announced
Picked for the cast of See How They Run in recent tryouts for the Senior Class Play were Davis Hall as Corporal Clive, Eric Berg as the Reverend Lionel Toop, Karen Rivard as Penelope Toop, Dave Grant as the Bishop of Lax, John Heckel as the Reverend Arthur Humphery, and Don Deese as the Russian spy.
The double cast parts include Dick Pate and Dave Gulick as Sergeant Towers, Betty Gano and Karen Colberg as Miss Skillion, and Barb Wherley and Pat Callaghan as Ida the maid.
Rehearsals started on October 21st and will continue until November 14th, when the play will be held in the auditorium on November 15th and 16th.

The play is under the supervision of Maine West's dramatics teacher, Mr. Garth Boyer, who has played numerous parts in plays across the Midwest in both TV and summer stock. Working under Mr. Boyer as student assistants are Jan Bocskay, Peg Johnson, and Donna Wolf.
Important as the cast are the two rarely credited groups known as the Stagecrafters and the Lighting Crew. These two groups, now considering on incorporating, are the most active service organizations at Maine West. On their list of activities in the next few weeks are handling the lighting for the drum ensemble program in the auditorium Sunday; the Aquiana Swim Show, November 1st and 2nd; the Music Concert, November 8; and setting the scenery and handling the lighting for the Senior Class Play.
