Intramural Fall Sports Completed
In the intramural program, cross country has been completed. In the senior division the champion was Richard Bayster who ran a fine time of 4:41. He was followed by Eamon Anderson, 5:02; Warren Michelson, 5:08; Leo Plas, 5:09; Scott Mackey, 5:12; and Jim Kern, 5:14.
In the junior standings it was Al Kellerman leading the way with a 4:59. Following closely behind was Ken Kuznicki with 5:05. Behind Kellerman and Kuznicki were Dale Alles, Jack Hoehn, Ken Bluhme, and Tom Junius.
Copping sophomore honors was Ed Henry who turned in the winning time of 5:13. He was followed closely by Bruce Kennett, who ran the course in 5:14. They were tailed by Conrad Utecht, Burt Lucas, and Bob Zografos.
In the frosh class, Greg Bartsch won the honors with a time of 5:18. He was trailed by Bill Wilson, 5:25. Bartsch and Wilson were followed by Hal Carl, Jay Carley, and Mart Paterson.
Tennis Completed
For the seniors, Ralph Searles was the champion at the nets with Levi Sherman finishing second. In the junior division it was Bruce Jacobsen leading the way with Bob Syphers second.
In the soph competition, Roger Buis was the champ and Dennis O'Connell second.
The frosh were led by Tom Engdahl and Tom Beck too second honors.
Football Results
Football was completed for the intramural tourney when the freshman winner was coach Roger King's second period class. They were led by captain Gary Nevins. Other members of the squad were Bob Bohacek, Charles Dalbec, Phil Heller, Bob Holm, Tom Kehe, Larry Larson, Jim Luebke, Ken Marecek, and John Miller.
Leaders in the point system used in intramurals to determine the trophy winner for the year have been posted. They are Tim Anderson and Tom Rostkowski in the senior competition with 270 points each; Bruce MacDonald in the sophomores with 235, followed by Bruce Kennett, 190, and Dennis Doyle, 170. Standings among the freshmen and juniors will be announced in the next issue.
