Flakes of white Start to flurry,
And to the stores
The shoppers scurry
In search of gifts
For all their friends.
They check their lists;
When will this end?

In all the celebration
And gay festivities,
Have the people of the nation
Forgotten the nativity?
Christmas isn't giving gifts,
But giving of the heart;
Not only on the 25th,
But every day we start.
