Gymnasts Look for First Victory
at Leyden Tonite
The Maine West varsity gymnastics team is going to West Leyden today, and they are out to break their two‑game losing streak. The meet will start at 4:30.
The varsity gymnastics squad lost its last meets to Evanston 85-47 on November 27th, and to Glenbard West 72-60, on December 6th.
The Warrior gymnasts were able to get only one first place in the Evanston meet. This was taken by Fred Bach, in the tumbling competition. In the Glenbard meet, the Warriors came up with two first places. Tom Roessing placed first on the side horse, and Fred Bach again placed first in tumbling.
