'V‑Show '64' Now Underway
Now that final exams are over, what do Maine West students have to look forward to "V‑Show '64" is the answer to this question. Under the direction of this year's V‑Show staff, the blueprints are being organized for what is said to be "a most entertaining and professional show. It will be April 23rd, 24th, and 25th".

Faculty advisers for V‑Show include Mr. Garth Boyer, Mr. Robert Kuite, Mr. James Killam, and Mr. Harold Martin.

The student director is Davis Hall '64, who has been working steadily to complete and perfect the show. Tryouts for acts have already been completed and are being chosen. Approximately 50 acts tried out this year and the greatest amount of enthusiasm was from the Freshman Class. They are to be praised for their contribution to the "excellent skits, fine dance numbers, and wonderful turnout."
Other jobs which are necessary to producing a successful show are those of musical director, Wayne Markworth '64; student coordinator, Betty Gano '64; art directors, Donna Lindboe and Todd Riddell '64; stage manager, Al Tyler '64; lighting crew director, Keith Johnson '64; choreographer, Linda Mahan '65; and assistants Anita Steinert '64, Pamela Barry '64, and Connie Lambrecht '65; costume directors, Jean Alajoki '64, Neshian Keshian '64, and Alice Utter '64.

The committee members from Student Council who take charge of various other departments are vital to the producing of V‑Show. The social committee, under the chairmanship of Ten Prochaska '65, handles the affairs of this Student Council sponsored project. Chairmen for Ten's committee are Paula Clayton '65, tickets; Donna Wolf '64, usherettes; Karen Rivard '64, programs; and Ethel Koehler '64, publicity.

Donna Wolf wishes to remind all girls who are interested to please sign up as usherettes this week and next.
