Davis Hall Is Asking For Help
on WMTH
"Our programming this year is better than ever, but we hope to have even more and better shows soon," remarked Davis Hall '64, Maine West WMTH station manager. WMTH, 88.5 FM, broadcasts at Maine West everyday from 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. with programs from "Folk Fest at West" to "The Music of the Singing Nun."

Interviews are a Maine West specialty, having presented celebrities such as Gene Taylor of WLS and Wally Phillips, the DJ from WGN. "Look forward to a well‑known folksinging group to be interviewed at WMTH," revealed Tim Keane '65, interview director.
"Our WMTH staff is shorthanded, and has openings for script writers and announcers. Anyone who would like to work on the station is needed and welcome," emphasized Davis. "To operate well we need interested personnel. This is a must."

The basketball game tonight will be broadcasted live, playby‑play, with Wayne Nero '64, and Ed Newell '65. There will be an interesting half‑time show presented by Tim Keane '65, and Mark Weidner '67. Preliminary plans have been announced to sportscast Maine West baseball games this year, although all arrangements have not been completely formulated. "The sportscasting department of WMTH at Maine West has been working to bring our listeners the 'best in sports.' So listen to WMTH sports, live, for all major athletic contests," announced Wayne Nero '64.
