Debaters Win!
Varsity debaters Dawn Piotter '65, and Jackie Piraino '64, won by a score of 2-1 on the WBBM high school debate show Rebuttal, on December 21, 1963.
The Maine West team faced Highland Park on the topic, Resolved: That Congress Should Enact A Fair Employment Practices Commission.
Dawn and Jackie were coached by Miss Patricia Conway and Mr. Eric Edstrom.
Maine West will enter second round competition later this spring on Rebuttal.
