Cafeteria Dishes Multiply
Imagine 3,000 meals being served in your dining room each day! Then imagine having a house full of guests right afterwards. Probably all you can visualize is one big mess.

Some 3,000 students use the Maine West cafeteria each day. Right after this operation is completed, students use the cafeteria for a study hall beginning the seventh period.
Some "messy‑hall" students seem to think that they have no obligation in keeping the place clean. They think that teachers in the cafeteria double as busboys. Kids who forget to return their dirty dishes and garbage should realize that others will have to clean up after them, or some other students will have to sit in the mess.

Food left on tables and chairs sometimes sticks to clothing or is smeared on books. These accidents can be eliminated with a little courtesy and cooperation.
