Swim Team Wins Five
The Varsity swimming team has competed in 9 meets this season, bringing their seasonal record to 5 wins and 4 losses. Lately, the Warriors have toppled Oak Park 50-37 and Morton West 75-20. Defeats have come from Evanston, Proviso West, Riverside-Brookfield, and Deerfield.

The Warriors took on Waukegan at home Saturday afternoon, and defeated them 65-29. The Warriors won first places in all events but the 50-yard freestyle and the 200-yard freestyle relay.
One and One in Conference

In Conference action this season, the tankers have a record of 1 win and 1 loss. On January 16th, the tankers traveled to Deerfield. It was a close meet, but the Warriors came out with a tough loss, 38-57. Coming through with a school record, however, was Jimo Kuhrt, with his 6th 100-yard breaststroke record of the season, a 1:07.1.

Bill Schact had two school records also, one in the 200‑yard freestyle with a 2:02.0, and a 4:37.2 in the 400‑yard freestyle. The medly relay team of John Gunderson, Jimo Kuhrt, Tom Gast, and Jim Hyerdall also set a school record for the medly‑relay with a time of 1:47.6. Bruce Jacobsen also took a first in the 100‑yard backstroke.
