Cupid Arrives at Maine West
By Shirley Tistle

Wanted: Be on the look‑out for a cupid with a dangerous bow and arrow.

Yeh! Who is that crazy baby in the hall with a bow and arrow?

Don't you know? That's no baby, it's a Cupid! He comes around every February 14th and shoots his arrow into people's hearts. He's just a little fellow, about three feet high with a bald head. He shouldn't be too hard to find, because he wears very little clothing. He has blue eyes, cute little dimples, and he's chubby. If you see footprints in the halls, don't worry because he usually runs around barefoot.

If you're afraid of this little three‑footer with a bow and arrow, you'd better not be running around in the halls alone. He'll shoot you in the heart and WHAMO! You'll fall in love with the first person you see, and that could be embarrassing. But if you're willing to take your chances of being shot‑go right ahead!
