Lucinda Wins Crocker Test
Lucinda Pump '64, is the Maine West winner of the 1964 Betty Crocker Search for the American Homemaker of Tomorrow.

On December 3rd, 1963, 40 senior girls at Maine West joined with approximately 484,000 others in more than 14,000 schools in the 50 states and the District of Columbia to take a fifty‑minute written examination in homemaking knowledge and attitudes. The examination and one discussion question provided the principal basis for selection of winners in the contest.
As the senior who scored highest at Maine West, Lucinda has been awarded the distinctive Homemaker of Tomorrow pin. Her examination is now entered in competition with those of winners in other schools in Illinois.
