West's Teachers Go To South
In addition to faculty changes announced in the last issue of The Westerner, the following teachers will be transferred to Maine South beginning the school year 1964-65; Mrs. Rosella Dieter, Business Education; Miss Edna Johnson, English; Miss Harriet Johnson, English; Miss Lois Guertin, language; Mrs. Daniel Holbrook, language; Mr. Richard Nowak, industrial education; Mrs. Lorain Kalbfell, head nurse; and Mr. Marvin Nyren, boys' physical education.

Also Mr. George Greene, science; Mrs. Alice Aegerter, social science; Mr. Eric Edstrom, social science; Mr. Timothy Little, social science; Mr. Gehard Rempel, social science; Mr. Fred Beutler, counselor; and Miss Barbara Hulse, counselor.

Two faculty changes within Maine West announced at this time are Mr. James Killam, industrial education to counseling, and Miss Mae Engen, girls' P.E, will be a girls' dean.
Maine South is located on Dee Road between Talcott and Devon in Park Ridge. Its estimated enrollment is between 2,500 and 2,600 students.

By using moveable partitions, the rooms can be made either larger or smaller. A compromise was made between many windows or no windows. These windows are tall and narrow reaching from the ceiling to the floor. The lecture rooms are furnished with elevated chairs, so it will be easier for a class to see visual aids and hear speakers. The lockers will not be in the halls, but near the bus areas.
