Gymnastics Championship
In the Offing
The Maine West varsity gymnastics team will host the Prospect Knights tomorrow evening in B‑Wing gym at 7 p.m. with the winner becoming the MidSuburban Conference champion. Like the Warriors, the Prospect gym team is undefeated in conference play.

Roessing Leads Gymnasts

In the last two weeks, the musclemen have had three meets. They defeated Forest View 78-54, Glenbrook South 95-36, and last Saturday afternoon, a strong Wheaton team, 66 1/2 - 65 1/2. In all of these meets, side horse man Tom Roessing has led the gymnasts with three more first places, to run his string to 13. Also picking up first places in these meets were Staley Branch on the trampoline, Terry Bishop, and Dick Braun on the high bar, John Kennett on the parallel bars, Bob Specht on the rings, and Fred Bach in tumbling.
Tumblers Come Through

Our tumblers had to place first, third, and sixth if the Westmen were to win the meet. The tumblers came through in perfect style gaining those exact places and winning the meet by one point.

The musclemen now have a conference record of three wins and no losses, and an over all record of eight wins and six losses with one meet left on the schedule.
