| Library a must For all students |
||||||||||
| Every school must have a good library. Students must have adequate and up-to-date materials available for their class work. MW's Harry D. Anderson library has these materials. This year the library has 13,500 volumes, six different magazines, which are placed on microfilm, and a large collection of records available for students' use. Mr. Willis Lindeman, library director, encourages students to use these and other library materials at any time. |
Books may be borrowed for two weeks. Pamphlets, magazines, college catalogs, and books that are always in request are checked out for two days. Books behind the desk are placed on reserve by teachers and are loaned for one period or overnight. Mr. Lindeman is assisted by Mrs. Olga Stetsuk and Miss Florence Kuhn. Helping the library to function in an orderly manner is the job of the library secretaries Mrs. Lorraine Wessberg, Mrs. Dorothy Thinnes, and Mrs. Elizabeth Schiegel, who is new this year. They are assisted by students with above average grades. Anyone wishing to be an assistant or library monitor should see Mr. Lindeman. |
