HEAD FOOTBALL Coach Kenneth Olson was one of 12 Chicagoland coaches selected for the Daily News All-Chicago Area Football Board. Coach Olson's first article appeared in the Tuesday edition of the paper.
THE GB SOUTH Titans should give the Warriors good competition tonight. Strengthened by three transfer students, an all-conference tackel from East Rockford, a quarterback from Europe a national merit semi-finalist, and a big end, the GB team can boast good size and speed. They work from the wing tee formation and can throw the ball well.

A GET WELL note to Jerry Hanselmann. The Warrior wingback suffered two cracked ribs and an internal injury in the Peoria Central game. We all hope Jerry will hurry up and get hack with the squad.

AN ALL-SCHOOL pep assembly was possible for the second time in the history of West when the students assembled on the new bleachers last Wednesday. The first all-school pep rally was held in the fall of 1961 between B and C wings.
