French Club Plans Banquet
The French Club, sponsored by Miss Bonnie Lehr and Miss Clarice Burke, is one of many clubs here at Maine West. Twice a month the members meet in R-104 to discuss various activities for the year, such as dances and club parties.

Former French students or students presently taking a French course are welcome to join the club. Only 50 cents per year is required of a member for a most enjoyable time.
 Officers of French Club include Jane Wolski '65, president; John Sukach '67, vicepresident; Regina Ahrens '67, secretary; Sue Hewes '67, treasurer; and Sue Stein '67, InterClub Council representative.

A newsletter, which travels among French Clubs in most of the north suburban schools, is looked forward to by French Club members.

"The newsletter is in French and consists of suggestions, stories, and songs," commented Miss Lehr. "In the early spring we plan to have a banquet for French Club members," added Miss Lehr. This should be a gay affair for the members.
