I'm Not Prejudiced, But. . . |
||||||||||
| By Chris Birchfield prejudice (prej'oo-dis) 1. To injure or damage by some judgement or action; to cause injury to; to hurt; to damage; to injure; to impair. 2. To judge before hand, especially unfavorably. I'm not prejudiced, but she certainly looks like a cow in that dress; I see why nobody can stand her. I'm not prejudiced; I don't openly discriminate against Negroes or Jews, but boy, they sure are funny lookin'! I'm not prejudiced, but those foreigners are always yelling about American foreign policy. The ingrates! Oh, I'm definitely not prejudiced; it's just that some people make me sick. You know what I mean? One look and, boy, you know right away-what a creep! We're not prejudiced: we Ku Klux Klansmen believe in justice. I'm not prejudiced; it's just that all Russians are spies. I'm not prejudiced; it's just that he's rather, well you know, crude. Not the right one for me to associate with. Sewer workers-P.U.! |
I'm not prejudiced; I just feel I'm better qualified for the job than he is. After all, I've known him for years. He's always been stupid. I'm not prejudiced, but she's a hood; you can tell them by the way they dress. And do you know where he went last night? No, I didn't see him myself, but Josuah said. - Teachers! Yesh! You're implying I'm prejudiced, when you know deep down inside I'm right! I'm not prejudiced; but all males are untrustworthy. Who says he's kind of nice? Are they nuts or something? I'm going to hate him; I just know I am; I'm not prejudiced, mind you, but I've met his kind before! Brotherhood Society is just a popularity contest. He's a creep, and he's been one ever since eighth grade! How should I know if he's changed-He's a creep! All those hypocrites who say they're not prejudiced-boy do they get my goat! I'm not prejudiced, but . . . How true is that, "I'm not prejudiced?" There always seems to be a "but". . Nobody is unprejudiced because nobody is perfect. Only the innocent can throw stones, but the innocent don't want to; they know better. |
