National Honor Society Welcomes New Members

The newly elected members of National Honor Society will be welcomed into the organization by the faculty and present members at a tea on March 17th at 3:15 p.m.

The faculty elects students to the society on the basis of their outstanding qualities of character, leadership, and service. A senior must have maintained a "B" average to qualify and a junior must have been in the upper 5 per cent of his class with no grade lower than a "B" in a solid credit course, at the time of election. Both juniors and seniors must have taken four full credit courses every year to be eligible.

Dave Thinnes '65, president of NHS, will welcome the new members at the tea. The other current officers are Jim Kahn '65, vice-president; Carole Engh '65, secretary; and Dick Leyerle '65, treasurer. Officers for next year will be elected from new junior members later this year.
