| "Splashes of Spring" is the theme of this year's Mother Daughter Dessert presented by the Maine West Girls' Club. The dessert will be held on May 11th from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. All senior girls and their mothers are invited to come. "This is a good way for the girls to repay their mothers for everything they've done for them during their high school years," says Linda Petkus '65, President of Girls' Club. |
In charge of the committees working on the dessert are Joyce Klodz '66, publicity; Linda Petkus '65, entertainment; Lynn Nielsen '67, tickets; Susan Gray '67, refreshments; and Shirleen Ullrey '65, decorations. Dress for this annual affair is dressy cottons and heels. Tickets will soon be sold at the head of the cafeteria for $1. "Each senior girl should try to attend as many of the festivities as possible at the end of her senior year for this is her last chance," urged Linda. |
